Pauline Frederick was born in Gallitzin, Pennsylvania on February 13, 1908 (d. May 9, 1990). She “was an American journalist in newspapers, radio and television, as well as co-author of a book in 1941 and sole author of a book in 1967. Over her nearly 50-year career, she covered many types of stories including politics, articles of particular interest to women, military conflicts, and public interest pieces.
